Museums, gardens and theaters give the city a strong cultural scene, and the San Gabriel Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop.

Housing and renting
Pasadena offers apartments, condos, courtyard bungalows and single-family rentals. Pasadena voters approved local rent stabilization and tenant protections in 2022; check the City of Pasadena’s housing pages for current rules and which units are covered.
For official information on tenant protections and housing programs, see City of Pasadena housing information. California’s statewide rules, including limits on rent increases and just-cause eviction protections for many units, may also apply.
