TENTEN Wilshire: Luxury Apartments in Downtown LA, Rent Prices & Amenities

Last updated: October 29, 2026. By the Apartments Club Editorial Team.

At a glance: 1010 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017 · Downtown LA · asking rents from $2,500 to $14,137 a month as of October 2026.

TENTEN Wilshire occupies 1010 Wilshire Boulevard, a 1960 office tower near the Harbor Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles that was originally built as the headquarters of Signal Oil. The Amidi Group converted it into apartments, opening in 2008. Published accounts put the building at 16 stories with about 227 homes.

TENTEN’s pitch is flexibility: the building offers furnished or unfurnished apartments, all-inclusive or standard pricing, and lease terms from one to 12 months, according to its website. That makes it different from most buildings in this series, which typically require a year-long lease.

Location and neighborhood

The building is on the western edge of the Financial District, close to the 110 freeway and a short walk from the 7th Street/Metro Center station. FIGat7th, the Whole Foods on Eighth and Grand, and the restaurants of South Park and the Financial District are all within walking distance, and Crypto.com Arena is about 15 minutes away on foot.

Like most of downtown, the immediate area is busy on weekdays and quieter at night. Read our Downtown LA neighborhood guide for more.

How it compares with other LA luxury rentals

We reviewed advertised rents at 25 of the priciest rental communities in Los Angeles County on October 28, 2026. Ranked by the highest monthly asking rent, TENTEN Wilshire came in at number 12. For context, here is what several other high-end buildings were asking on the same day (same source):

Keep in mind that the top of each range is usually driven by one or two penthouse or oversized units, so the starting rent and the mix of unit sizes often say more about a building than its single most expensive listing. Linked names go to our full profile of that building.

Touring tips

  • Ask which specific units are available and on which floors; view and floor height can move the rent by thousands of dollars in the same floor plan.
  • Request the full monthly cost in writing, including parking, pet rent, storage, utilities and any amenity or service fees.
  • Ask whether advertised specials are applied as free weeks up front or spread across the lease, and how that affects renewal pricing.
  • Visit at rush hour and in the evening to judge traffic, noise and how easy it is to get in and out of the garage.
  • Read the lease terms for minimum length, early termination and renewal caps before you put down a deposit.

Who it suits

TENTEN suits people relocating to LA, corporate and production workers on temporary assignments, and anyone who wants a furnished downtown apartment without a long lease. It is less suited to renters looking for brand-new construction or very large penthouse homes.

Can you afford it?

A common rule of thumb is to keep rent near 30% of gross income, which means a $2,500 apartment calls for roughly $100,000 a year in household income, and the top-end unit far more. Many luxury buildings also ask for income of two and a half to three times the rent.
